Still Life -Vincent Van Gogh Sunflowers

This is a mixed media project. Students will use construction paper, crayon, watercolor, and oil pastels to create a still-life painting.

11 am - 12 pm

Grades = 1st - 2nd

Max 5 students

Georgia O'Keeffe Flowers
The primary focus of this project is color theory. Students will use analogous colors, complementary colors and value to create a Georgia O'Keeffe flower. The primary medium is oil pastel.

12:00 - 1:00 pm

Grades = 2nd - 4th

Max 5 students

3D Drawing

The students will start off drawing basic forms and learn how to shade them with graphite pencil. They will then learn how to turn forms into objects. They will learn how to create cast shadows using a light vanishing point and shade with colored pencils using value and color.

Grades = 3rd - 5th

Max 5 students




Van Gogh - Bedroom in Arles
The students will use one point perspective to create a room interior. The primary medium is oil pastel.

Grades = 3rd - 5th

Cityscapes
The students will learn how to turn shapes into forms using linear perspective. They will also learn other techniques artist use to create an "illusion of depth" in their artwork. The students are encouraged to use these techniques and their imagination to create an original work of art.

4:00 - 5:00 pm

Cost = $60

Grades = advanced 4th and above (5th, 6th, 7th)

Max 5 students

Because of limited space in each class/camp we appreciate that in order for registration to be complete please pay within 4 business days of registration. We will not hold spots for unpaid registration after that time to allow for others to register that are waiting. Thank you!
